Here at Hackberry Hill ranch, we raise Akaushi/Angus cross cattle. Our beef is raised on our ranch from birth to processing--so you know exactly where your meat has been and where is came from! We use conscious, humane-driven practices, focusing on the health, safety, and livlihood of the animal. All animals live their entire lives on pasture. No pens, no containment, no intervention unless absolutely necessary. We believe in "letting cows be cows" and cows should be out in a field eating whatever forage they choose. In order to respect what's on our table, we must respect the animal. We see the difference in our beef, and we hope you do as well.
